Give Fest donations will help build long-term support for the Trego County Food Pantry while helping ensure resources are available to address hunger and food insecurity in our community. Support may be used for food pantry operations, programs and services, facilities, equipment, and other needs that help provide food and basic necessities to individuals and families in Trego County.

The Trego County Food Pantry works to address hunger and food insecurity by helping provide food and basic necessities to individuals and families in need throughout Trego County.

Profile

The Trego County Food Pantry is an important local resource for individuals and families experiencing food insecurity. By helping provide access to food and other basic necessities, the pantry offers support to our neighbors during times when a little extra help can make a meaningful difference.

The Trego County Food Pantry Fund at Heartland Community Foundation was established to create a lasting source of charitable support for this work. Fund distributions may support the pantry’s operations, programs, services, facilities, equipment and other needs.

The fund was also intentionally created with flexibility for the future. As community needs change, it may support other charitable programs, organizations or initiatives that address food insecurity, basic needs or related needs consistent with the pantry’s charitable mission.

A gift during Give Fest helps strengthen this resource for today while building support that can continue helping Trego County neighbors for generations to come.
