Specific Need
Leadership Hays' mission is to improve and strengthen individuals and the Hays community by identifying, inspiring and involving those persons who have displayed a capacity for leadership. The Chamber started a fund for this program to help offset the registration expenses for individuals to participate as well as assist covering fees for materials, curriculum, and travel costs associated with class members when traveling to the Kansas Leadership Center in Wichita, Kansas. Each year, up to 20 individuals across Ellis County participate in the class. They put their leadership knowledge to the test at the end of their program with a class project, which is focused on positively benefitting the youth of Ellis County. Funds donated to this effort will support this program's continuation for year's to come!
